Afina Hotel

Breakfast is just around the corner from this small, old-fashioned hotel in the city center.

Just right.

I went there in 2012, not long after it had been built. It's fairly close to both the train station and the port, and there's a pretty decent café next door with the same name. If you're in this town, I'd recommend staying here.

The suite has its good points: two rooms, a great bedroom and bed, plus a living room that's ideal for getting some work done while relaxing. Room prices are good, too. The hotel is in a convenient spot, has secure private parking, and a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, though you have to cross the street to reach it. There are some downsides. The room feels chilly, and the heating doesn't seem strong enough for winter. The parking area is tight, so with lots of cars it's hard to find a spot. In the suite, the bedroom TV doesn't work, and there's only one outlet in the room, by the desk.
