Park Hotel

The room I reserved was changed without any warning or explanation, even though I had clearly stated my preferences. When I raised the issue, the receptionist was rude and dismissive, with no real attempt to resolve it. Reception left the worst impression. The staff seemed to have no idea what service means, and the administrator's arrogant, rough manner felt like something from Soviet times. It seemed guests were merely tolerated. The atmosphere was cold, and there was no effort to make me comfortable. The hotel didn't meet what I consider European standards, with service more like a provincial sanatorium from the 80s. I've stayed in many high-end hotels and have never run into this kind of rudeness, prohibitions, and total lack of respect, even at places with minor flaws. My attempted "vacation" here was extremely unpleasant. If comfort, politeness, and even a basic level of service matter to you, I categorically don't recommend it.

My room looked out onto the park next to this lovely hotel in the city center. It was cozy and very clean, and the price was reasonable for the improved standard room we booked. The staff were nice too. If I come to Nizhyn again, I'll stay here.

We brought dozens of people and spent a significant amount of money by booking 10 rooms for our wedding, expecting care and respect on an important day. Instead, the staff were confrontational, answering requests rudely and with annoyance, as though we were getting in the way. They even kicked our guests out of their rooms long before the official checkout time, with no explanation or apology. They showed no understanding that a wedding is a special event, not just an ordinary overnight stay. The terrible service, indifference, and rudeness caused stress and left a bad taste after what should have been a celebration. It felt as if guests were treated like enemies. This was completely unprofessional and ruined the experience. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who values their time, money, and nerves. If you want to spoil your celebration and mood, you'll be disappointed.

The staff are very well-mannered, and the cook is simply the best!! A few things were missing, though: the Wi-Fi was very weak, there was no hairdryer or stand for shampoo and gel in the bathroom, and no shoehorn in the room. There was a kettle, but no cup.
