The location is the one thing that makes this place worth considering. Otherwise, the photos and description set expectations that the actual room didn't meet, which was really frustrating. The room gets almost no daylight because the windows are so small, so you're stuck using artificial light, and there's no mosquito screen to keep bugs out. The photos show a cooktop, but not every room has one, and the host didn't mention that. There was just one blanket for a double room. The furniture, fittings, and finishes all felt extremely cheap, and there was mold in the bathroom. Bells from the nearby church were loud early in the morning and throughout the day.

The stairs smelled strongly of cat urine, and the floors creaked loudly. The rooms have tiny windows set so high you can't see out, plus very basic facilities and dusty glasses. The pictures were heavily edited. You can find somewhere better for less money, so I wouldn't recommend it.

Valentine was so kind and hospitable, and I want to thank her. The room was clean and accessible, with the city center very close by. Seems like a good option for people visiting Odessa.
