The interior is nice, and the pool is tiny, smaller than a child-sized one, though that was clear from the photos. It’s a long way from the main cafe and shopping streets, and the beach is over 30 minutes away. If you want somewhere really quiet, it may suit you. We checked in on a weekend, and the electricity went off 20 minutes after we paid. It stayed out for hours. The state service wasn’t responding, and Blackout Odessa confirmed there might be a longer local outage rather than a general one. With our phones nearly out of battery, we had to leave. The owner asked us to cancel for free through the booking service, but still kept the payment for the first night. That felt really bad.

A nice apartment hotel, with apartments finished to a high standard. The garden is cozy, with tables and a fireplace, and there’s a pool area with sunbeds. The Wi-Fi is great.

The room didn’t have the basics we needed: no kettle or stove, no towels or soap, and not even salt and sugar. The dish sponge looked like it belonged in some ritual for preparing a body for burial, and there wasn’t a dishcloth either. When we asked for the kitchen basics that were listed, the receptionist brought us a strange towel with a clump of hair wrapped around it, apparently a washing machine “gift,” instead of a dishcloth. The replacement sponge somehow looked even worse than the old one. The furniture was threadbare and shabby, the mattress was disgusting, and the pillows were lumpy and hard. Sleeping was torture. The receptionist greeted us looking deeply annoyed, as if our arrival personally offended her, and her expression didn’t change when she brought the towel. I wish there were even a small positive to mention, but the whole stay was a disappointment. If you’re looking to ruin your vacation, this is the place.
