Really good.

The staff were cheerful and welcoming, and the café was a real plus. Meals were tasty, from pizza and shashlik to cocktails and fries. Breakfast had good variety, and prices were low: a full lunch with a starter, main course, and compote was 110 UAH, while dinner was 75 UAH. There’s plenty to do on the grounds, including a large clean pool with warm water, table tennis, a volleyball net, and gazebos with barbecues. The grounds are spacious, but weeds and poor upkeep take away from them. Parking costs 25 UAH a day, and you still have to find a spot among the weeds. The walk to the sea takes about 15 minutes along an unpleasant road, though there’s a convenience store on the way. Our room had clean white linens and towels, air conditioning, and polished plumbing fixtures, although the fixtures need replacing. The room itself could use renovation, and it was too dark inside. There was no hairdryer. Some rooms apparently had kettles and glasses, but ours didn’t, while the room next door did. There are a few small things that could improve the service. Still, the quality matched the price. We paid 945 UAH when checking in, though Booking.com showed 913 UAH. I should have paid closer attention. At checkout, the room price was 750 UAH, perhaps because there weren’t many guests. The vacation went well, and I’m glad it did. Thank you.

The grounds were fine, the gazebo was excellent, and the pool area was busy. Our rooms were budget-friendly, with a very small bathroom but a good shower. For the same price, a large group could find good alternatives. What spoiled the stay was the management’s rudeness and unwillingness to fix a problem they had caused. We’d paid a hefty amount and it felt as if we’d arrived on a free voucher. We were there for a friend’s birthday and had booked and paid for five rooms with a gazebo a month ahead. When we arrived after 2:00 PM, the agreed check-in time, only two rooms were ready. The other three still needed cleaning, and there was no gazebo or barbecue available, as though everything had already been booked. We spent about an hour sorting out the gazebo we’d arranged in advance. Without it, the celebration would have been ruined. I also understood that the five rooms were supposed to be next to each other, but they weren’t. That was a minor issue by comparison.

The pastry shop deserves a mention, everything was fresh and melted in your mouth. We also ate really well, with different choices at breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day. You can grill or order from the cafe, too. There’s a lot packed into this place: it’s a recreation center, you can come just to swim, and there are gazebos with barbecues. The pool was excellent and clean, with a section for little kids. The grounds are huge but quiet, full of greenery, and the small buildings mean people don’t disturb each other. Even the summer heat hardly bothered us there. Accommodation and guest time are very affordable. We’d definitely recommend it and will come back. It’s a great fit for families or small groups. A golden like from me!
