Really nice, beautiful staff!

We've stayed here a few times, and it’s usually a lovely, peaceful place. There were hardly any guests when we visited in 2021, and the restaurant was closed apart from breakfast. The small grounds have a pool, but nowhere for kids to play or run around, so it’s not great for families. What really let us down was the beach pass. Nobody mentioned when we booked or checked in that you need to buy one at reception to get to the sea. I only found out after walking there with my two children. They were exhausted by the time we got back to buy passes, and I had to carry the youngest. When I raised it, reception said they were making it up to us, but offered nothing, not even tea or cocktails for the kids. That felt like poor management, so I’ve taken off a star.

We had a great vacation here, and the staff were friendly. The hotel is small and cozy in a pretty cottage area near Odessa. It’s about a three-minute drive to the beach and 30 minutes to Arcadia. The pool is large, with plenty of loungers, and the restaurant serves tasty food in generous portions at reasonable prices. The beach nearby is clean but paid, 50 UAH to enter. Umbrellas and inflatable pools for kids cost extra. There are toilets, showers, changing rooms and a cafe there, with parking for 100 UAH right by the beach or 30 UAH about 150 m away. Shops, a pharmacy and a children’s entertainment center are also close. A few things make it less convenient with little kids: there’s no playground, the restaurant has no children’s menu, and there’s just one high chair. We brought our own food. Still, we came for a holiday and had a lovely time. Thanks, guys.
