Such a lovely room 😍

Once inside, the room had stale air, frequent midges, and a lingering smell. The shower drained very slowly, rubbish wasn't taken out, and the room wasn't cleaned. We even found somebody else's pack of condoms under the bed. When I asked for rubbish removal and a fresh bag, they told me to take out the old bag myself and they'd give me another one. The reception often had no staff because, they said, employees were at other properties. That's not my problem, there should be separate staff at each place. Finding the hotel was a hassle. The address is easy to find, but there's no advance information telling you to enter the courtyard, use the gate code, go all the way to the end, or what to press. The sign is only there at the end of the courtyard, and the place isn't otherwise indicated. They tried to charge me a 600 UAH fine for supposedly ruining the bed. I had only slept in my usual thermal underwear, and I've never had this problem at home or in other hotels. Maybe the bed is cheap and poor quality, since dirt marks seem to transfer from whatever you lie in, and then they blame the guest. They also cancel reservations themselves on Booking, probably to avoid reviews. All the printed instructions and rules by the rooms are in Russian and English, with no Ukrainian at all.

The basement shows signs of flooding and damp. Room 10 had no windows, felt stuffy, and smelled strongly musty. Its door barely worked, ventilation wasn't working, and the soundproofing was -1. There was a dirty knife in the room and lots of women's hair on the bed. On Booking.com, the hotel cancels the room automatically after check-in, which prevents guests from leaving a review and keeps the rating up. The hotel doesn't live up to its Booking.com or Google rating.

Room 4 had no window, which I didn't like, and the apartment is in the basement. The neighbors' exhaust fan was loud and quite audible. On the plus side, it was clean, with heated flooring, a mini kitchen, dishes, and a good TV. I stayed one night and had already paid, but they canceled my reservation afterward for some reason. I don't understand why. Since I booked through Booking.com, I can't leave a review there.
