0⭐️: Smart Hostel let us down on cleanliness and basic facilities. It's on the top floor of an apartment building with no elevator, which is difficult with heavy luggage. There's no proper ground-floor storage for large bags either. The receptionist seemed detached and wasn't helpful. The shared bathroom and kitchen were dirty, and there was a particularly bad smell around the stove and sink. The nearby railway station is convenient, but that doesn't make up for these problems. 3⭐️: For travelers looking for convenience and comfort, Smart Hostel has some real advantages. Its location near the railway station makes getting around easy, and the internet is fast and reliable, useful for work or planning a trip. I found the accommodations modern and comfortable, with a welcoming, home-like feel.

The admin yelled at me for taking three showers a day because I work out. She was so loud and ferocious that I couldn't spend the night there. I had to find another place at 23:30, and got no money back or anything. Worst hostel I've stayed at in Odesa.

I liked being within walking distance of the sea and Trassa Zdorovya. I visited in May 2019 and had a good stay despite a few minor flaws. The staff preferred cash for payment, and paying by credit card meant a 2% fee. They said they would change that.

The hostel was tidy and in a great location, with a supermarket just a minute away on the left. Even with the language barrier, services like check-in and laundry were great.
