My husband and I were only passing through and needed somewhere for the night. After an hour and a half in the room, I realized I wouldn’t be able to sleep there. I know it costs 300 UAH per night, and I’m not expecting a European-quality renovation at that price, but clean sheets and towels and basic sanitary standards should still be expected. The sheets had huge stains and were gray and stale-looking, though they must once have been white. The towels were the same. There was only cold water at the sink, the shower faucet was broken, and the carpet had stains of unknown origin. You could hear everything through the walls, as if there were no walls at all. It’s a sad situation, especially since the hotel looks normal from outside. The one bright spot was the receptionist, a very nice woman who was pleasant to talk with.

There’s parking, and the room has AC, TV, and Wi-Fi. Still, the hotel is only so-so. The rooms are small, there’s a noticeable smell, and the linens are faded and dark, sometimes with holes.

We were there for two nights, and hot water was the one upside. The room was terrible: cockroaches shared it with us, as if their stay was included in the price. The towels were badly washed and had holes. There were only pillows and a blanket left from the bedding, maybe the staff don’t know what a blanket is. Our windows faced a dump, and the soundproofing was awful.

I can’t recommend this hotel. The rooms are dirty, with mice and cockroaches running around, and the service is terrible. They also can’t prepare business trip documents properly. The windows are awful, and the bed and towels are not very clean and have holes.

We tried the banya, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Save your money and nerves and go somewhere else. It was filthy and in poor repair, and the tiled floor could cut you. The setup was awful too: no proper table or sofa, just a bench to sit on, and a very old TV hanging from the ceiling. The staff were rude. The woman at reception insulted me, and they charge for anything they can. It costs 300 UAH/hour, but using a broom means another 100 UAH for the cleaner to tidy up. From the state of the banya, it looks like nobody cleans unless they’re paid that 100 UAH. There was mold everywhere, from the walls to the radiators.
