Poltava and the surrounding region are really interesting to explore. One highlight right outside this place is a local beer house with its own craft beer and traditional regional food. They mainly have three beers: Pilzener, Munich Red ale, and Dark ale. The soft water makes the Pilzener my favorite, in my opinion, and the local "galu'shky" is definitely worth ordering. The place itself has a slightly Soviet feel because of the architecture. Reception was very good and quite helpful, and there’s a well-stocked souvenir kiosk.

It's a one-star hotel. That says enough.

Good afternoon! Calling this a hotel is a stretch, it's a shack, and the place is just horrible. Five people have to share one toilet and shower. The bed had bleach stains, and the blankets look like they've been around for ages. For this money, I'd be better off staying at a roadside hotel. Just horrible.
