The rooms were great, and I was even thinking about arranging a retreat for 15 or more people. I came for a weekend, though, and the restaurant side needs work. The pancakes, coffee, and tea were good, but the salads were lacking in both quantity and quality. The waiters were good, too. Service was a 4, rooms a 5, and the restaurant a 3. They seemed short-staffed over the weekend, and both food quality and timing need attention. There are nearby restaurants, so eating elsewhere is manageable.

We left Kvitka Polonyny after being told dinner would take 40-50 minutes because the kitchen had many orders, and the service there had already been awful and slow. At Villa Kvitka, the food was delicious and came with quick, good service. We had our toddler with us, and the waitresses offered to watch our daughter while we ate. There were lots of toys to keep kids busy, too. I was pleasantly surprised. The drive uphill to the villa is short but bumpy, and I strongly recommend making it for lunch or dinner.

It was excellent, though I think people come here for the sounds of nature more than for music. Could you turn the music off outside? The natural sounds are much more relaxing 😊
