The panoramic windows made the mountain views even more impressive, and I had a great time staying in the house. The food was delicious, and fishing for trout was a real pleasure. I also loved using the hot tub and sauna. I’m hoping to return in warmer weather to swim in the lake and ride bikes out to the cliffs and river. A lovely spot for a quiet mountain break.

We visited in September '21, and I really liked the place. There was a bit of a communication problem when I arrived since I'm Dutch, but they did their best to answer my questions, and the chef speaks some English. The next day they even made an English menu especially for this weird European guy :-D That's what I call service!

On my first visit, it felt like a fairly ordinary little cafe with basic food and drinks. You can fish for trout nearby and grill it. Some of the food wasn't fresh, though the white mushrooms in white sauce were very good.
