Rafinad

We paid a fair 600 UAH for a double room, with no price spike even during the Russian aggression. The old sugar factory, from the time of the Potocki oligarchs, has several nicely designed small rooms. The bed was very comfortable, everything was spotless, and the Wi-Fi worked well. There was a kettle, TV, guarded parking, and a little shop and tasty café about 100 metres uphill. The roads to and from Shargorod were rough, and soundproofing between the inner rooms was poor. Rooms 1 and 2 have separate exits, but the fridge and microwave made a noise like a kommunalka. I like their idea and enthusiasm for bringing historic architecture back to life, and hope to return in peaceful times. Stayed 16.3.2022.

The owner was especially kind and genuine. He helped us sort out a few personal matters while we were there, and we really appreciated that care. Rafinad is in a picturesque part of Shargorod, with a well-kept property that sits nicely among the natural surroundings. The Scandinavian-style interior fits the setting, and the stay left us with a very pleasant impression. It was a peaceful place to recharge.

The room had the comforts and essentials we needed, and the owner, who was kind and pleasant, gave us a short tour. We enjoyed staying at Rafinad Hotel in Shargorod, with its picturesque, well-kept grounds, lavender field, and swings at the former sugar factory. Thanks for the relaxing stay. The rooms were clean and cozy, and both the staff and owner were very attentive to guests. It's a quiet, peaceful spot where you can enjoy the natural surroundings. The contact number listed is outdated, though, and no replacement has been added. There's no café on site, but you can have dinner at a café or restaurant in Shargorod. It's not bad overall.
