The staff were attentive and friendly, and the price felt fair. The walking park nearby is a plus, and there are complimentary drinking waters at a designated spot. The water zone was mostly clean but nothing special. Food was ordinary, sometimes undercooked, though it was served neatly. The hotel is beside a busy road and a nearby fuel station, so it's rather noisy. The daily presence of Russian-speaking visitors who behave that way was really unpleasant. Some information signs are in Ukrainian or Russian, and only rarely in English. Our room had a broken appliance and a torn gown, which should have been dealt with before check-in. The hotel itself advises against drinking the tap water. There is a kettle in the room, so you'll need to buy safe water somewhere or bring your own. I'd rate it 3 stars, definitely not the claimed 4.

I spent two weeks at the Kyiv Rus hotel with my children and liked everything: the clean rooms, good service, and tasty restaurant food. The girls in the children's room were super professionals, and I was especially grateful to the medical center. I went there for treatment and came away feeling stronger. Thank you to the whole Kyiv Rus team. I was surprised by a review complaining that a sled cost 100 UAH. Why should extra services have to be free? Some people seem impossible to please and always think they're right. Thankfully, there aren't many like that!

We booked a room for 12 nights at 5400 UAH per night, and I was unpleasantly surprised that basic things for children, like a sled and bicycle, cost extra. At normal hotels, these are usually available to guests for free. Charges like this leave a bad impression.

A very good place for treatment and rest. The hotel has all kinds of healing waters, and there's a medical center too. Head doctor Lyubov Yakovna took a truly professional approach and arranged the necessary tests and treatment. The neurologist and urologist were professional as well. Thanks also to Anton, the physical therapy doctor, Maria the masseuse on the 5th floor, the physiotherapy staff, and the nurses for their care. I have a few small wishes about the restaurant menu, but they're not enough to take off even one star.

We've stayed at the hotel regularly and have always been very happy with the service. This time again, the people at Kyivan Rus made us feel welcome. The food is consistently tasty with a good range of dishes, and the chef is attentive and friendly. The reception staff are always helpful. My daughter left her air pods in the room, and the girls found them and promised to send them to us. The SPA has recently been renovated. Everyone is friendly, and you can feel they want you there. I truly recommend a visit.
