Villa Leontiya

I’ve stayed here with my family twice, in October 2019 and again in October 2023. The views of the Skhidnytsia mountains and forests from the windows are beautiful, and the staff at Villa Leontia are friendly. There’s no food at the villa, but springs No. 18 and No. 1C are nearby, with springs 21 and 21A close by too. There’s also a gazebo on the street near Villa Leontia where you can drink Skhidnytsia water and enjoy the landscape. A wonderful place, highly recommend!

The dishes were filthy, and the mattresses had yellow and brown stains. The owner ignored our requests to have the sheets changed and the dishes washed. What was promised on the websites didn’t match what we found after arriving and paying. We had to spend the day tracking down the “staff” just to get fresh sheets. It showed a completely irresponsible attitude toward both guests and the business. In the end, we took the “owner’s” advice and switched hotels.

We’ve stayed here twice this year, and friends we recommended it to were very happy too. Book ahead, especially since you can pick anything from a budget room with a shared kitchen to a pricier one with a private balcony. The room has the essentials, including a large TV, hairdryer, kettle, dishes, bedding, and towels, and there’s a basic set of items in the kitchen. You get mountain views from the window, plus a gazebo and barbecue in the courtyard, and parking under the villa. The location gets 5 out of 5. For a budget holiday, this place is top-notch.

We came with a big group of children, and the soundproofing was good enough that we couldn’t hear our friends and their kids. The only small hassle was having all the dishes, including the pots, in the room. I’d get to the shared kitchen and realize I’d left a pot behind, then have to go back. There were a few issues with heating and hot water at first, but they were sorted out quickly. Tatyana, the friendly manager, was very helpful and accommodating. The rooms were clean, warm, and cozy. Five stars from us. Wishing the villa prosperity and good guests.
