We ate at the restaurant every day, for breakfast and dinner, and the Ukrainian and Carpathian specialties were delicious. Service was quick and the whole staff was friendly and helpful. They even have an English menu if you need one. Our Superior Double 9 was spacious for two, spotless, and had a big bathroom and a comfortable bed. Although the hotel is on the main street, our room faced the inner courtyard and stayed quiet. We also rented bikes there, which was very convenient. Yurii, the owner, was especially helpful. He took time to explain things and had plenty of great tips for the area. We had a wonderful stay in Skole. Thanks to everyone!

We first came with the kids in 2020, and the food is still consistently high quality. The lygantsi are so good that we drove an extra 30 miles today just to have them again. They’re a very local specialty, and really worth trying. The varenyky with potato and berries are great too, as is the bograch.

The food was delicious, and they served the vareniki with homemade sour cream, or smetana. Service was pleasant. Prices feel aimed at tourists, though that’s understandable, and portions are moderate at best. The restaurant has a few sections, each with a slightly different style. The entrance is on the side rather than at the front. I’d recommend it.

The restaurant is probably the best in Skole. It may be a little pricey, but I think it’s worth it. The small hotel is quite good too, with the essentials in the rooms, though there’s no cooling. Still, this is the mountains, so you can head off in either direction to get away from the heat, or try swimming in the Opir river like the locals. The bathroom has toiletries, hot water, and free drinking water.

Tasty dishes and good service from the waiters. This is the one good place to eat in Skole, with genuine Ukrainian food and a few Western Ukraine touches.
