Comfortable and good.

We spent one night here with our dog, and they accommodated us for a small extra charge. We could see Palanok Castle from the hotel. The bedding and colored towels were old but clean. There were a lot of problems: the sewer was clogged, there was mold on the curtains, and the toilet had rust. The bathroom had nowhere to set toothbrushes or soap, no shelf or glass. The old hairdryer hanging there didn’t work. The room had both a refrigerator and a TV, but only one socket, so we had to choose which to use. There was air conditioning, but they wouldn’t give us the remote. The hotel used to have a restaurant, but now there wasn’t even a kettle or cup in the room.

The photos and the actual place seemed like they belonged on different planets. There was no room cleaning, and the service was a complete nightmare. We’d paid in advance, but when we tried to cancel, they refused to refund us even though no such rule had been stated. The most disgusting hotel I’ve ever seen. Stay here if you want to ruin your mood and your rest.

We had a lovely four-day stay over New Year’s. The restaurant and chef Yuri deserve a mention: he was responsible and friendly, and the New Year’s table had lots of different dishes, served on time and tasting great. The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy, the rooms were spotless, and staff cleaned them daily. It was warm and comfortable. I highly recommend it!
