The shower was broken, and the bathroom smelled bad. In winter the rooms are cold, and the walls are thin enough that you hear people in the other rooms.

We thought we'd get some rest with my wife before crossing the border, but instead there was a crowd of noisy, drunk misfits right under our windows. The hotel administration doesn't care about its guests. They just want the money, and don't care what goes on in the hotel. Avoid this place. And if the electricity goes out, you'll have no water or internet either.

Check-in was straightforward after we booked through Booking. They met us and got us settled, and the border is 20 minutes away by car. The room was clean and the mattress comfortable. The price felt a bit high for such a small town, especially with no breakfast.
