The welcome at reception was warm, and my mother and I loved the property and its atmosphere. We’d gone to the resort for a few days of rest while I was in Lviv on business, and at first everything seemed amazing. The restaurant experience changed that. The waiters were rude and unwelcoming. At the terrace by the lake, one made fun of my wine choice and acted as if an $80 bottle was beneath his time. He said that since I didn’t know anything about wine, he could find someone to help me, then never brought the bottle I’d asked for. It left a really bad impression of the whole trip.

I haven’t seen a resort this beautiful in Ukraine. The scenery is outstanding, and the hotel’s elegant decor fits the setting. The restaurant food is exceptionally good quality. Edem Resort and Spa could qualify for membership in American Express Finest Hotels and Resorts.

Just an hour’s drive from Lviv, this is such a good spot to unwind. There are green hills stretching to the horizon, lakes with swans, modern art statues, a relaxing beach, and a cool SPA. The food is healthy and super tasty. Definitely the right place to be.

The scenery is incredible, and the decor, artwork, library, and ambience all add to the place’s spectacular feel. The spa facilities were top notch, from the swimming pool and jacuzzi to the sauna and hydrotherapy. There was complimentary wine and chocolate when we arrived, and the staff were friendly. Food and spa services cost extra, so be ready to spend a bit more, though I thought it was worth it. I travel a lot and stay in plenty of different places, but this is my favorite so far. It’s an amazing hideout, and I think you need to experience it at least once.

Everyone speaks English and they’re wonderfully courteous hosts. The food and surroundings are delightful, and the facilities and activities are spectacular. It’s an elegant, relaxing, luxurious, artistic, fun, romantic place to visit or stay. I haven’t found anything better in my travels. If six stars were possible, I’d give them here. And with all that, it’s very affordable.
