Rooms are on the small side, but comfortable and clean, and they’ve been freshly renovated. The staff were friendly and helpful, and reception is open 24/7. The receptionist spoke decent English. You’ll need ID to check in. Breakfast is served at the hotel’s Panorama restaurant. It’s a fairly standard buffet, with hot and cold choices, good coffee, and some local dishes. I liked the syrnyki, a kind of small cottage cheese pancake. The hotel is exceptionally well located, with nice views from the waterfront side and spacious outdoor parking. Probably the best place to stay in Ternopil.

The lake is only a few steps away, and there’s a parking lot behind the hotel with an attendant on duty 24 hours. Ternopil is lovely, and Hotel "Ternopil" is well placed for enjoying the city. The staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The restaurant’s drink selection was limited, though it had plenty of food to choose from. The herring and borsch were delicious, and breakfast was amazing, with a great range of savory and sweet dishes. I’d gladly stay again.

I stayed four nights in late July, 2019, and had a wonderful time in Ternopil. The hotel was clean and tidy, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was excellent. Its convenient position overlooks the lake and puts many tourist attractions nearby, with the city center just a few minutes away on foot. I really enjoyed my stay.

My Studio Superior room was spacious and pleasant, with a little kitchen and everything I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it’s easy to reach since the hotel is right in the center. The terrace and its amazing view were the highlight for me, I couldn’t stop looking at it. The biggest drawback is that the place still feels very Soviet. The food was just okay, nothing special, but decent enough.

The lakeside location made my stay pleasant, with the Ternopil lake right beside the hotel and the city center close by. It’s a fairly good hotel and has been renovated recently. Some staff were really nice and professional, though a couple of the restaurant waitresses weren’t very accommodating.
