Apetiko Apartments

Being close to both Podil and the city centre made this a really useful base for all the errands we had during our 15-23 March stay. There are hills to walk up and down, though. We loved the views and being right in the heart of the city. Our room had a kitchenette and a small fridge, and there was enough space for us. The hot water was available throughout our stay, and a couple of outlets kept working even when the power went out. The staff were friendly and quick to help by phone or Viber. The pillows were a bit too firm, though I could have asked if they had softer ones. We considered arranging breakfast at a nearby hotel before arriving, but were glad we didn't, since there were lots of places along our way and we could plan our days freely. Thanks to the owners and staff for making it a place we'd want to return to.

I stayed in both the apartments with a jacuzzi and the ones without, and liked each. Everything felt new, clean, modern and well kept. The jacuzzi has different settings, and I had a great rest. The sauna was comfortable too, warmed up quickly, and let me choose the temperature myself. The elevator and friendly staff were nice to have. The location on Andriyivskyi Uzviz worked well, with the city's interesting spots nearby. I'd recommend it for a break or a business trip.

The one thing that caught us off guard was the fire alarm. It went off during a power outage, woke us up at night, and we had to call the administrator. It'd help to know about this in advance or be told how to switch it off. Otherwise, we were comfortable. The apartments were clean and had what we needed, and the staff were lovely and reachable around the clock. I hadn't seen on Instagram that toiletries, robes and slippers were provided, so that was a nice surprise and meant we didn't need to pack those. The jacuzzi and sauna were great too. Thanks so much for the kind service.
