The location is perfect, and the hotel is cheap compared with others in the region. Our room was modern, with a balcony and TV, and the bathroom had a hairdryer. But the building is old, the corridors smell old, and the shared bathrooms have a strong urine smell. Nobody replaces the hygiene products either. One of our beds, supposedly after cleaning, had blood on the sheets, while the other was covered in hair. The food was good, but definitely not dietary, and the menu was almost the same every day. Staff were a mixed bag, some friendly, others really inconvenient!

The location is perfect, and the staff were very willing to help with whatever we needed. Breakfast was tasty, with an acceptable choice, and the cheerful staff served us and cleared plates quickly. Some rooms have been renovated, while others still feel Soviet style. The hotel itself has a Soviet-era feel and seems a bit past its prime. The WiFi was very poor. It kept dropping, so we had to log in again and again. It’s 2024, and you’d expect to make Telegram or WhatsApp calls over WiFi, but unfortunately not here.

The staff are what make this place special. Everyone was kind, friendly, and energetic. A big thank you from Canada to reception, the ladies in the Beauty Salon and Med Palace, the cleaning and kitchen teams, and the gentleman who fixed my dad's shaving mashine. You’re the best people on earth. My dad and I stayed at Hotel Vesna in July 2016 to relax, walk around, and be pampered, and it delivered. Check-in was quick and easy. Our room was small but very clean, and there always seemed to be someone cleaning. The food was healthy and delicious, with something for everyone at the buffets. If you want hamburgers or steak, this isn’t the place, but all the vegetables were fresh, which mattered a lot to my dad and me. The WiFi was great, faster than what I get on vacation in the Caribbean. We’ll definitely be back!
