The room was comfortable enough and everything worked, though we had to wait two days for someone to deal with a blocked sink. We bought a drain cleaner that evening and cleared it ourselves, then the plumber showed up the next morning. Housekeeping was good, taking the rubbish out regularly and mopping the bathroom floor. The spa was a hit, especially with my daughter, who spent the whole day in the pool. The pool, jacuzzi and aroma saunas were all working, and the spa was open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with a buffet and an egg station where you could ask for what you wanted. I liked eggs with mushrooms and tomatoes, plus cottage cheese with sour cream and honey. There was also a coffee machine with different kinds of coffee. My family and I would come back to the Caesar building.

I wouldn't recommend staying here. The place doesn't live up to its advertised stars and deserves only one, in my opinion. The spa is mediocre, with no staff around to keep an eye on safety. Doctors seem indifferent and prescribe treatments without tests, apparently just by guesswork. There's no Wi-Fi anywhere in the building. The price isn't justified.

The rooms were kept clean, with daily housekeeping, and I really liked the spa. The welcome was a different story. We weren't given our room until 2:30 p.m.; then they handed us a map and left us to find it ourselves with our luggage. We also had to work out where everything was without any help. The receptionists seemed to treat foreign guests much better.

If you want to walk around Truskavets in a robe and head straight to your own spa, this is one of the few places that offers that. The spa is spacious, and the hotel itself is decent. Food is underwhelming but passable, and the property could use some cosmetic work. Anyone expecting luxury or especially attentive service may be disappointed.
