Alina Hotel & Hostel

We had a great time here with our small child and big dog in the family room. Dogs are allowed, and there's a shared kitchen. The room was very clean, the staff were great, and the location near the city center was excellent.

The prices are great, and the place is nicely renovated with a convenient setup. But the facilities don't seem sufficient for the number of guests they want to accommodate. There are only curtains, no shower doors, which felt like a high school dorm to me. The hot water also wasn't nearly enough for the number of rooms. The kitchen had too few cups and not much else to use, and it isn't reasonable to expect guests to travel with their own plates and things. They ran out of drinking water, which was really uncomfortable. The wifi wasn't fast enough either.

Really wish I could've stayed another night! The workers were friendly, the dorms were very clean, and the bath and toilets were spotless. I slept comfortably on a good bed with a fluffy pillow. The kitchen was lovely too, with clean utensils and dining tables for at least 16 people. Best hostel I've stayed in Ukraine.

The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean. The guy at reception was very nice and helpful, and I definitely felt it was worth the money. It's on the fourth floor of a small shopping center, in an excellent spot: five minutes from the castle and cathedral, and 15 minutes from the main street and the railway station. You can even hear the bells on Sunday morning. Amazing!
