With just eight rooms, the guest house stays peaceful and quiet, which I really appreciated during a few days visiting Ukraine and the Transcarpatia region. Breakfast was homemade and tasty, served on a beautiful terrace with a city view. The staff were polite and helpful, especially Stanislaw and Inna. The architecture and comfortable feel make this a place I'd recommend.

The service felt warm and attentive, more like staying at a friend's home than a hotel, and breakfast was made to your choice with dietary preferences considered. I loved the cozy rooms and their furnishings. In the yard, there are tables and a barbecue set, with a view of the lawn and trees. The Villa is marvelous, restored from a XVII century church building, and still has authentic details like the stairs, chimneys, brick ceilings, and a wine vault in the basement. I'd love to come back.

The bed was comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the price was reasonable. Stanislav, the manager, was friendly and professional. A cozy boutique hotel right in the heart of Uzhhorod, in a beautifully restored 17 century villa, with modern comforts inside.

Jeanne and Natalie deserve special thanks for the great housekeeping, hospitality, and superb local Hungarian food. The wine cellar is really cool, too. The atmosphere in this recently renovated old Villa was wonderful, right across from the medieval castle, a few steps from the baroque style cathedral and near the beautiful Maria-Theresa monument. I still can't believe I was in Ukraine, since other parts of Uzhgorod and the rest of the country I saw felt very dirty, unfriendly, and dark.
