City Hostel Panorama

The central location makes it easy to get everywhere, and the place was clean and pleasant. The price is good, and the service was excellent. It was pretty cold in November, though. There was an air conditioner but no remote, and the water took about five minutes to warm up, maybe because of the boiler system.

Just be careful if you’re hoping for a quiet night: the floor above has a nightclub, and once it got so loud the whole place was shaking. The hostel itself is fairly new, clean, and nice, with affordable prices. The rooms are spacious too. Even the largest, a six-bed room, has enough space for a 15-person disco party 😊.

The building is modern and clean, and the staff are nice. On Friday and Saturday, music upstairs can pound until 3 or 5 a.m. The hot water heater stopped working and was still broken when I left a day and a half later, on 5 June 2019. There are no window screens, so mosquitoes can get in when you open the windows at night. I assume they switch on the AC when it gets really hot.

I’ve stayed here twice now and really enjoyed it both times. The staff are lovely and helpful, and they’re happy to assist if you need anything. It’s a very affordable place in the middle of a lovely city. I’ll stay here again when I’m back.
