A quiet family guesthouse...

The pristine mountain lake Synevyr, the castles, and the thermal pools in Beregovo were all part of a wonderful three days in Transcarpathia. The owner knows the region so well and showed us around the whole time. We fell in love with this magical corner of the Carpathians. Yuri, you made our vacation! I've never seen that kind of dedication, and this was my best vacation in Ukraine this year. We'll be back, and I highly recommend staying here. If I could give six stars, I would, without hesitation :) Isabella's Grono is a cozy house with clean, bright rooms and new furniture. The owners clearly care about guests being comfortable, and they clean every day. The soft new towels and homemade wine deserve a special thank you. Sometimes you meet people who take on every worry themselves. That's what responsibility looks like, and we didn't regret staying here for three days at all.

Getting here is inconvenient, and there are no buses in the evening. But the hosts are nice, the conditions are good, and there's hot water. It's quiet and warm, and most of all, two people can stay here for an affordable price.

The price feels much too high for a stay that isn't very comfortable, even though the hosts are really nice. It's a place for travelers who don't expect much. The bed was uncomfortable, the walls and ceilings were thin, and there was no parking. Booking.com calls it an apartment, but living with the hosts is something you have to be suited to.
