Duet Plus Motel

The food was good.

The cafe downstairs on the first floor gets very noisy. Maybe I just got unlucky, but people were running and banging around in the corridor, and there were lots of drunk, loud people. The room itself is very small and has had a slight renovation.

Breakfast costs extra, but you can get it on the first floor. The food is homemade, tasty, and affordable. It works like Puzatay Khata: the dishes are already prepared, you choose what you want, and they serve it. I saw comments about food being heated in the microwave, and yes, that's true, but does anyone mind that at Puzatay Khata? The room was clean, with modest furnishings and modern furniture in styles from different countries. I was pleasantly surprised not to find mold in the shower, which is something I always worry about. There was a strange smell from the water and a little highway noise, though that comes with staying in a motel right above the road. A wonderfully simple roadside motel.

The cafe is alright and the food tastes good, but the service was awful. The woman was rude and unpleasant. 👎
