The scenery is magnificent, and the service wasn’t bad. The mattresses were good, but the rooms were quite expensive for what you get, with no refrigerator or air conditioning. The triple rooms are even smaller than the double suites. We also had a disagreement about which meals were included. After we checked out, we were told some items weren’t free. That hadn’t been made clear anywhere, and nobody warned us those services were charged, so it came as a shock. The food was edible, though I expected more from a hotel in the Carpathians. The profiteroles were good, at least.

The rooms were clean, but very basic for the price, and the food was okay. Staff were friendly and helpful, and tried to present it as a luxury hotel, though it isn’t. The location is beautiful and the view is splendid.

The restaurant is good, and the cocktails are unusual :)) The views are great too. It’s high up in the mountains, so in winter you might not be able to drive there in your own car unless it has four-wheel drive. I definitely recommend this very cool place!
