Sokil House

The piano in the hallway and the cool gray cat gave us a lovely first impression and set the tone for a good weekend. Our group was happy with the apartment. It was easy to reach, had a large yard, a playground, a spacious kitchen, and comfortable, clean rooms. There's also a nearby shop with everything you need. The apartment was warm, with underfloor heating beneath the tiled floor and good windows. You could barely hear the passing trains. My son loves trains, so he was disappointed he couldn't hear every one of them 😁. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, with a large fridge, oven, and even a dishwasher. There was also a gas canister for lighting the barbecue, a clever convenience I haven't seen in another house before.

We stayed for a week with friends and were very happy with the house. It was warm, with well-kept heating, underfloor heating, and two bathrooms. In the living room, we had a table and plasma TV, so we could play board games, eat, or watch a movie in the evening. We mostly gathered in the large entryway, which had a small table and sofa, and you could smoke hookah there too. With no neighbors right next to the house, we could make noise without worrying about disturbing anyone, whether that meant shouting or karaoke. The owners were attentive and checked if everything was okay or if we needed anything. They can also advise on which mountain to visit, how to get there, and where to find a sauna or hot tub, and give you the relevant phone numbers. There was no washing machine, but we could leave laundry with the owners and get it back ready. One may even be there by the time you arrive. We could also have used a closet or a few more bedside tables. Those aren't deal-breakers, and we mentioned them to the owners, who were keen to know whether we were happy with everything and might address them before your arrival. All in all, I was completely satisfied with the stay.

We had a wonderful holiday with friends at Sokil House. The fenced grounds are spacious and beautiful, with a pool and playground, and the tidy house has everything needed for a comfortable stay. We liked it very much and would be happy to come again!
