The hosts are so helpful with any questions about your stay, and the house and grounds are kept clean around the clock. It’s cozy, comfortable, and lovely here, with such warm service that you’ll want to return and never leave.

The guesthouse has a kitchen stocked with everything needed to cook, plus a barbecue and terrace. There are two nearby pools with unlimited access, and the grocery store is just a 3-4-minute walk away. Pavel, the Admiral's administrator, picked us up at the bus station and let us choose a room. Paying by card or cash was easy. Everything was a five out of five, and we’ll definitely return. Thanks!

We stayed at Admiral, and the rooms each have their own veranda with lovely wicker furniture. In the evenings you can smell juniper, pine, and flowering trees. Irina, the hostess, is young, calm, and attentive to requests. Two housekeepers handle cleaning, towels, and linens promptly, and one can also help with electrical, plumbing, and repair issues. A minibus is available for shopping, the beach, or other outings. There are two separate houses for holidaymakers, with the owners living elsewhere. Admiral 1 is a three-story building with seven rooms right by the sea. Admiral 2 is about a ten-minute walk from the shore, and has a large lit pool, spacious grounds, a separate barbecue area, and a big trampoline in the shade. It’s green and quiet, especially nice for families with children. The kitchen is modern and roomy, with new appliances including a slow cooker, and plenty of attractive dishes and cutlery. There was enough food for all the families at dinner. Conditions here are excellent. Whether to come here and cook for yourself or go to Turkey all-inclusive is up to you, the price difference is huge. Koblevo has long been a traditional holiday spot for Ukrainians, Belarusians, and Moldovans, and accommodation has improved a lot in recent years. When we left, my mother-in-law said, “I’ve never had a ‘vacation’ like this. It felt like someone was watching me all the time, and if I did something wrong, I got told off.” That sums it up. We paid the full market rate but felt like students staying for free with a friend’s cousin, and still somehow owing her. The maid seemed to be everywhere: cooking alongside us, watching what we did, and making remarks. The crib was barely held together, and in the morning she scolded my sleepy mother-in-law because the sofa beneath it had collapsed. The lawn was apparently expensive, so after accepting us with children, we were told not to walk on it. Noise came through the room’s glass main doors and the gap underneath, including from drunk neighbors and from our children. That’s especially rough for grandmothers who sleep lightly. The maid and receptionist also gave us daily instructions, despite there being no stated hotel rules. Some grandmothers were allowed to scold our children, then cook soup in the kitchen in wet swimsuits with bare bottoms while we ate with the kids at the next table. There’s a barbecue, but we were only allowed to use it once because smoke facing the maid’s bedroom windows would disturb her rest. We’ve spent four years vacationing in Koblevo, but our first stay at the Admiral will be our last. I can’t recommend it.
