The cooking really impressed me, especially the chapatis, which are in a class of their own. They’re rich and tasty, somewhere between butter naan and a 'papadam', and just melt in your mouth. Try them with goat meat (mutton), you’ll remember it. The fried liver and pillao are good too. I keep making a pilgrimage back to that kitchen. If you love quality food, this is the place to visit. The cuisine blew me away, particularly the first-class cooking. I bet even the sultan of Zanzibar/Oman would have to take note.

I was on a business trip to Yumbe and stayed just one night. The room was okay, but the bathroom was something else, maybe it’s an old hotel. Breakfast was nice 👍

The pool is spacious, deep and really nice. My guests and I were very impressed and pleased to use it. We also enjoyed freshly made passion juice and chilled beers. After waiting since 2013, I was extremely happy to see the swimming pool finally finished. It was worth the wait, the best pool in Arua Town. Well done team Desert breeze.

I love the cinnamon-yellow facade. As my hard-to-please Advanced Level OB from KLA City once said, it’s upper echelon. Definitely deserves more than a 3-star hotel classification.
