ViaVia Entebbe

I needed a place for the night before my flight, and after travelling I was on a tight budget. Someone recommended this hotel, so I stayed in my own tent. I was impressed by how close it felt to nature. The restaurant, food, people and everything else were just perfect. I didn't use the pool, but it looked nice. There was wildlife too, including monkeys as well as birds.

The menu doesn't offer many choices, but the food is well prepared and nicely served. There's a range of exceptional drinks, and the environment is conducive. They also have an art gallery. It's a beautiful place with forest and water views and monkeys, away from the city and its noise. I'd visit Via Via again and again.

After a long journey, the clean, well-appointed rooms made for a relaxing place to unwind. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and I really enjoyed the restaurant's delicious meals and lively atmosphere. I recently had a wonderful stay at Via Via Entebbe. It's a very convenient location for travelers, just a short distance from Entebbe International Airport, and I appreciated the smooth airport shuttle transfers. It's an excellent choice for a visit to the area, especially for its accessibility and warm hospitality.

We live in Kampala, and this was a perfect escape for me and my two sons. We camped there and loved it. The food was great, the service brilliant, and the wildlife was just wow. From the terrace we saw a rare Sitatunga, a wetland antelope, in full view across the pond. The next morning three otters were playing nearby. There was spectacular birdlife too, Turacos, raptors and lots of wetland birds. I can't remember seeing such a wildlife display at a lodge in Uganda, especially right on the edge of Entebbe city. Highly recommended, we absolutely loved it, and so did my boys.
