Koi Koi Cultural Village Hotel

A great cultural experience with Tooro traditions, beautiful scenery to wake up to, walk around in, and relax among.

The lush garden is relaxing, but the hotel feels overpriced for the service. The restaurant food was disappointing and took a long time to arrive. The waiters were slow and seemed unwilling to work. At breakfast, I asked for black tea, but they couldn’t provide tea bags. Customer service should be a priority in hotel management.

We enjoyed walking around the quiet property, away from the city. The gardens are pretty, and our balcony looked out over them. The cabin-style setup has an upstairs and downstairs room. Our room and bathroom were spacious. There was some hair in the shower, though everything else was clean. We ate at the restaurant, and it was pretty good.

The property is welcoming, with spacious rooms and peaceful surroundings, just a few kilometers from the city center. We stayed on weekdays, so we missed the cultural activities, though I’m sure weekend guests have a great time with them. Our room felt dim and dull after sunset, and more lighting options would help. The staff were nice and welcoming, but seemed to need more training, especially with setting tables. We had to ask for cutlery each time. We enjoyed our stay and would come again if we get the chance.
