We’d found our new quiet getaway, not far from town, and are already hoping to return at the end of the month. The staff were genuinely cheerful and ready to help whenever we needed them. We loved that nobody asked us to pay on arrival; I brought it up myself at the end, which showed the trust they had in us. Breakfast had loads of variety, just as described, maybe even better, and they didn’t hurry us when we went past breakfast time. With AllFriends restaurant next door, it felt like the perfect spot.

We were in Jinja with my work team, and everyone came away satisfied. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, and the location was convenient. What stood out most was the food, easily the best I’ve had in Jinja, with great flavors and generous portions. The staff were so friendly and made a real effort to make us feel at home. I’d happily recommend 2 Friends Guest House for a laid-back stay.

That bar and restaurant across the road, right by the lake, was a highlight. Try the pineapple cocktail. We stayed two nights, and everything was lovely: the food, the perfect location, and kind staff. Thanks to Charles and team for a truly 10/10 stay. I’m not sure everyone using this app realizes that 1 star means bad and 5 means good 🤦🏼♂️

We keep coming back to 2 Friends Jinja for holidays, usually staying 3-6 nights, and it remains our favorite hotel in Jinja. For us, a visit to Jinja means staying here, and we expect to return again soon. The friendly, welcoming staff are a big part of that, from manager Mark and David in maintenance to Josephine, Joyce, Janet, and the other service providers. They make you feel at home as soon as you arrive. Breakfast each morning is a highlight, with a lovely range of food and drinks. The grounds, pool, and restaurant are beautiful and well looked after. Rooms and the rest of the hotel are regularly updated and well managed, and there’s now a beautiful new gym and sauna. It’s only a short walk into town, with plenty of restaurants nearby. All Friends Restaurant is next door, and you can have its food brought to your room or the hotel restaurant.

The place was extremely clean, and every staff member gave accommodating, excellent service. Five stars hardly covers it, I’d rate the service 10/10. If you’re staying a week or longer and want somewhere that feels like home away from home, I’d definitely recommend 2Friends ❤️
