It's okay by Uganda standards, and the staff are friendly, like all Ugandians. Ask for a portable air-conditioner because the buildings here aren't insulated. The internet isn't fast, but it's enough. In some rooms it's not good, apart from the restaurant. The restaurant is nice and clean. I'd suggest vegetable rice with passion fruit juice, fish filet with passion fruit juice, or whole fish with passion fruit juice. I think those flavors go well with Turkish and Balkan culture. There's a bank, shops, a barber, gift stores, and markets nearby. Don't forget to buy some tropical fruit.

The food menu looked appealing, and the place itself was nice. I could use my laptop after they let me squeeze in, but the only socket was already being used by employees. I also kept getting interrupted by people who wanted to chat, so I didn't get much work done. If you enjoy company while working, you might like it here. I wanted quiet, so this wasn't the spot for me.

Rain caught us by surprise, so we ducked into Igar Cafe. We got hot, freshly made pumpkin soup and carrot-ginger soup, both priced at 15,000. Each came with bread and made a nice snack. Service was quick, too.

If you like fish as much as I do, try their deep-fried fish. They have some of the best dishes in town.
