The staff were awesome, friendly, and very helpful. They kept my bicycle while I was away. The location is lovely, with a wide garden, and the rooms were clean and very good by Ugandan standards, especially the room I got for my second night :). I was there for two days on my Uganda Expedition and was fully satisfied. Just keep in mind the kitchen takes its time. That seems normal in east Africa, and it’s a contrast with our European fast food culture.

The gardens are lovely, a great spot to hang out or spend some quiet time thinking. The staff were welcoming, the place is comfortable and well kept, and the food is delicious. It really feels like home. Highly recommended.

I was only passing through and needed somewhere for one night in Kabale, Uganda, so I chose Riverside Resort Hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the staff were friendly and professional. But the furnished room was old, there was no hot water at the sink, and the shower was so weak that no water came out. I won't stay here again.

Resting in the beautiful gardens by the Riverside, you can hear the birds chirping in a peaceful, homely setting. The meals were nice, the rooms lovely, and the gardens beautiful. It felt like home away from home.

I went to the restaurant and really enjoyed the food and drinks. The hosts are lovely people, and the service was incredibly friendly. They even made sure I got safely to my night bus and spoke with the bus people to check I’d arrive safely. I can only recommend these nice people, their accommodation, and the restaurant!
