Nile Front Cottages

Lilian was especially impressive. She went out of her way to help my partner and me, and we really appreciated it. The whole stay was amazing.

We only had one night at Nile Front, but my wife and I loved the peaceful setting and the moonlit evening. The room was comfortable and clean, staff were pleasant, and breakfast was praiseworthy. It felt like a heavenly stay at this beautiful resort. I’d recommend it to loved ones visiting Jinja, Uganda.

The room was clean and set up well for a longer stay, with a little kitchen, living space, bed, and a compact shower and toilet. Reception was pleasant, and you can see the water in the distance. But we were disappointed by the food: the Greek salad was mostly lettuce with no feta or olives, and the fish and chips arrived cold. Our room was right by the shared area, so we heard everything. On Tuesdays a cycling class plays music from 6 to 7:30 pm, so loudly I couldn't talk on the phone or enjoy the evening view. There was also daytime hammering from construction, which I understand during low season. There’s no pool or direct water access, so you have to use the sailing club next door to reach the water.

A welcoming place, with elegant hospitality, tasty food, and free Wi-Fi. The view and atmosphere are lovely too.
