The staff are wonderful, and the place is budget-friendly. It was near Christmas, and much of the garden was overgrown and neglected. We were the only guests for the first three days. There's no electricity in the rooms, only solar, though the place itself is kept clean and tidy. Don't look in the kitchen, though. In North America it would be shut down as a health hazard.

STAY AWAY. We waited three hours for food, and all we got was rice and one chicken thigh at an unreasonably high price. The room had no electricity and no hot water for bathing. Service was bad, and the bed was dirty, with a cockroach and bed bugs.

It’s a nice spot for a Christmas or Easter stay. We visited in the off season, so it wasn’t busy, though it gets packed when the season is on. There’s a view of the river too.

We had a really good time. The guides were friendly, the scenery was lovely, and the price was very reasonable. Definitely felt like money well spent.

There’s plenty of space here, so it seems better suited to larger groups or camping. It’s a quiet, nice place, though it’s set off the road.
