After ten days traveling in Uganda and trying several lodges, this was the worst one for me. I can't see the value in coming here, and it felt like a waste of time and money. A good position on an island doesn't make a place a resort. The rooms weren't properly equipped, with just one charging point hidden behind the furniture, and no soap or anything like it. The people weren't professional or especially kind. Definitely overestimated. Call it a motel.

We got to the resort by boat, then were taken to reception for a welcome drink on the balcony overlooking the lake. From the room, the lake views were incredible, and everything was comfortable and well equipped. The staff were lovely and helpful, and we really enjoyed the food and drinks. We ate on the balcony as the sun set over the lake. It's a relaxing place, and we spotted lots of birds and animals on our walk around the island. Highly recommended!

There wasn't much to do activity-wise at the lodge, just a short walk and a canoe trip among the options. It was on an island, which made the stay special, and the room had a good view and was nice. Breakfast and lunch were well prepared, though dinner was a lower quality buffet. A nice place to stay, but it didn't have much real tourist value.

I loved the attentive, welcoming service at Lake Bunyonyi Eco Resort. The eco-friendly accommodation was beautifully designed and comfortable, and it felt like money well spent.
