The gardens, greenery, shaded parking, antique cultural décor, and open-air restaurant give the place a nice atmosphere. The rooms are decent and affordable too. But if anything goes wrong, expect little help. Our door code failed, leaving us outside for most of the night. Friends in the room next door had to help us, or we might have been stuck out there despite having paid. The next day, staff seemed careless and focused on money instead of sorting it out. Even a basic phone charger wasn't available to borrow, so bring what you need. The manager and receptionist didn't seem interested in assisting or supervising problems. When things run smoothly it can be a pleasant hotel, but the staff were lazy and unhelpful when we needed them.

The location is nice and the rooms are decent, but the toilets and bathrooms really aren't good. Worse, when a problem with our bank stopped us paying the agreed way, they wouldn't accept any online alternative and wouldn't let us leave. They should have been more flexible while we were trying to arrange another way to pay.

The room was okay, and the shower would've been great if it had a door. Don't order breakfast if you're short on time. We waited more than half an hour just for coffee and some fruit, then waited another 45 minutes and left, thinking that was all. When we tried to go, they said there was more food coming, so we ended up waiting over half an hour again.

The grounds are beautiful and relaxing, and the customer service was good. Meals, though, took ages. One time we waited over two hours to be served. The room was moldy, especially around the shower, and it never looked clean even after housekeeping had cleaned it. The shower was also difficult to move around in if you're an average-sized person.
