Those early walks around the golf course were a highlight for me. I’m not much of a golfer, but the birdsong, fresh air, and quiet were really refreshing, and the course looked well kept and challenging for people who play. My room was roomy and comfortable, with a lovely view over the greens. The restaurant had Ugandan food and international dishes, and everything I tried tasted good. Staff were welcoming and helpful with room needs, restaurant bookings, and getting around Kampala. The calm setting felt like a break from the city, while still being close enough to it. I had a memorable, relaxing stay.

Breakfast looked like dog food, and the room smelled of BBQ. The internet barely worked, and the AC switched off in the evening. The hotel feels old and poorly maintained, and finding your way around is like getting through a maze. It was also far too expensive.

The breakfast selection was really good, and I enjoyed dinner at the revolving restaurant, though there wasn't much to choose from on that menu. Rooms are huge, with very good amenities, and the golf course views are beautiful. Great hotel, but it could use better upkeep.

The pool is big enough for everyone, and they serve tasty food at low prices. There are good rooms for resting in the daytime or overnight, and security for visitors is a priority. It's a cool place with a nice environment, and it can accommodate everyone. Come along!
