Kololo Courts Hotel & Restaurant

I’m giving one star only because there’s no zero option. My friend’s wedding should have been the happiest day of their life, but the hotel made it a frustrating mess. Service was painfully slow, the staff were disorganized, the food was bad, and the buildings felt old and outdated. The catering was a disaster: everything was late, and no guest got a complete plate of food. Coordination was nonexistent. We booked with the manager and have receipts for our payments, but the owners claimed we had paid less and tried to distance themselves from the receipts we had. Customer care was terrible. There was even police at the wedding because of a conflict, not for security. Many things in the hotel are old and feel like a safety hazard. It needs major renovations. The staff know what happened, and an honest staff member will tell you to run. Save yourself the regret and hold your wedding somewhere else. There are better places in town. Run away from this place.

A great spot to hang out.

I liked the customer care, and the food was great. The sweet and sour chicken is especially good. It’s a good place for a family dinner and wasn’t too crowded. Parking was limited, though they’re working on it. All in all, I had a good experience.

A good place to stay too. I recommend it.
