Macsedo Resort Hotel

The surroundings are quiet, and room service is top notch. The network does drop out sometimes.

The property is well lit with warm lights and has plenty of parking. Rooms are clean, and hygiene is clearly kept to a high standard. Food and drinks arrived promptly and were handled professionally. They also have a hall and garden available to hire for events. Most of the staff were friendly, though the woman who showed me around seemed low on enthusiasm and didn’t give my questions much attention. I’ll visit again, but I rated it four stars because I couldn’t get fresh Ugandan coffee.

I paid for a single room through Airtel Money Pay using agent code 1254052, but the room we were shown upstairs wasn’t what we wanted. Before that, they had shown us very different rooms for the same price. The manager was arrogant and said they don’t refund any money. I felt robbed, especially since my brother had recommended the hotel. The reception staff kept watching translated soaps on TV while we were trying to get an explanation, which left me very upset. I hate to say it, but Ugandan managers have done a great job spoiling the names of new hotels. No wonder people employ Kenyans as managers. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all.

The sauna and steam bath were wonderful, and the place feels like a palace where you can make lasting memories and forget the past.
