I was disappointed by my stay at Star Royal Motel. Breakfast was only black tea and fried eggs, with no bread, so it felt incomplete. Getting hot water was frustrating. They’d deliberately removed the hot water switch, leaving them in control of when it’s available. Even after I asked for some, it was barely warm. There are no mosquito nets in any of the single rooms. If you want protection from bites, you have to pay more to move to a larger room. That’s unacceptable in places where mosquitoes are a serious concern. With breakfast, hot water, and nets all lacking, it’s hard to recommend this motel. It needs major improvements.

It’s a fine place to stay, though employees talk loudly to each other outside and in the corridors.

Looking for somewhere to enjoy yourself and stay the night? This could be the spot. The accommodation and food are reasonably priced.
