Mugiez Hotel and Apartments

The friendly staff and clean rooms made my stay at Mugiez hotel generally pleasant, even with a few drawbacks. The rooms were well maintained, and the daily cleaning included fresh bed linens. The lady cleaners were diligent and chatty, and the place felt like a small, close-knit community where staff knew one another. The outside surroundings can be noisy and chaotic, though that’s beyond the hotel's management. Room sizes varied, with some spacious and others a bit small. In the top-floor rooms, the water pressure could be low and the temperature sometimes fluctuated. Reception staff tried to fix the water pump. Since the weather was hot, it wasn't a major issue for me, but it's worth mentioning. I liked the consistent breakfast menu and it was just what I was looking for, though more variety would be welcome. The accommodation wing staff were exceptionally friendly and chatty, especially two ladies at reception, which made my stay more pleasant. Some of the bar and restaurant staff seemed more reserved. The sauna and steam room were a nice touch, and I appreciated the complimentary spicy tea and roasted ground nuts. It would help to have temperature gauges displayed. I was told those amenities weren't included in my daily room rate because I paid daily instead of by block, which seemed unusual given I stayed more than 12 nights. The lady manager kindly gave me one complimentary sauna and steam room use. It would be good if customers or residents could use them regardless of how they pay. The gym was available too, but I'd have to pay extra to use it, which doesn't seem fair. I also met two managers, a woman and a man, who were both courteous and approachable. The male manager overseeing the bar in the evenings was professional and friendly.

Customer care at their restaurant is the worst. The waitresses don't seem to care and take our orders with little concern. Once, we ordered pizza and had to remind them two hours later. Then we found out they hadn't written the order down, and they weren't apologetic at all.

A perfect spot for parties.

It was a great place to have fun and feel comfortable, almost at home. It was my birthday today, and the care and love they showed meant a lot. May God bless the management.
