Robert and his staff were attentive when we raised issues, and Robert replied quickly on WhatsApp. That’s why I’ve rated the stay more highly. We stayed three nights, and I’d consider coming back if the power situation became more stable. The rooms would have scored better, but the electricity and water kept cutting out, which was inconvenient. Much of this seemed outside Robert’s control. The utility company was working on the poles, so the water heater and refrigerator only worked intermittently. There were also issues with the solar system and water pump. A power surge caused the pump problem, and an AVS could prevent that in future. When there was electricity, the water pressure was good and the hot water was nice. The road gets a bit rough after you leave the main road, but that’s par for the course in Africa.

The host is friendly and very helpful, and the place is clean and safe. It’s good value for money, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Entebbe/ Kampala.

The host, Mr Ronald, was very helpful and went out of his way to sort things out. He even drove me around the area so I could get my bearings, and he shared plenty of useful information to help me have the best holiday possible 😀. The resident is extremely clean and tidy, with a watchman always stationed at the gate, so it feels very secure. They prepare delicious local food on request. I highly recommend it! I’ll definitely come back!!!!
