I didn't meet the owner in person, but he explained everything to me over the phone, and he was a gentleman. Thanks so much to him and the staff. This is my place now, and I'll keep coming back if God wishes. May God continue to bless you. If you're looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful, I recommend staying here.

With Kampala's crowds and chaotic traffic, The Mbuya Residence felt like an oasis where we could rest peacefully. The staff were fantastic, and Bruno, the owner, was eager to accommodate the unusual needs that came up. Everything was clean, and the chefs' wonderful meals kept us well fed. A great experience!

Bruno was a class guy, and his personality really came through in the way he led. This was a great base for traveling in Uganda, with clean rooms, roomy meeting spaces, well appointed bathrooms, and awesome food. The two chefs prepared wonderful meals for our group.

Set in a quiet corner of busy Kampala, Mbuya Residence has a beautiful terrace and compound, lovely decor, and great wifi. It's an amazing place with a great host, and I'd highly recommend it for short or long-term stays.

The place was spacious, secure, and comfortable, and we all felt at home thanks to Bruno. Sam was wonderful too, going above and beyond what was expected of him. I'd definitely stay here again. It felt like home away from home. Thank you.
