I spent the weekend reading, enjoying the grounds, and walking around the area. It’s a great location for a quiet break or for climbing Sabinyo, which my husband hiked after a 30-40 minute drive from the hotel. Norbert, the owner, and the staff were amazing. The food was great, especially the homemade breakfast bread, and there was a good selection of wine and beer. Highly recommend.

From this beautiful basin shaped valley, you look west toward the great Mt.Muhabura. When the sky is clear, the mountains rise right in front of you; then white cloud can roll over the peaks, and you can feel the moisture drops. The setting is lovely, with good service and a great location.
