We camped here in our 4x4 with a rooftop tent and really enjoyed it. It’s a lovely, quiet spot near Lira, with amazing cabins and buildings, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere.

The location might make you wonder, before you visit, whether the place is real. But we enjoyed our stay. Brownstone Country Home has an elegant design and top-notch amenities, which made the experience relaxing and enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel.

The peaceful, serene atmosphere and lovely reception stood out. The price alone makes it well worth it. I highly recommend visiting if you’re on vacation, touring, spending a weekend, or having a party.

The food is great, and the down-to-earth staff make you feel part of the Brownstone FAMILY. With its landscaped gardens and relaxing atmosphere, it has that home-away-from-home feeling and brings out a love of peace and quiet you might not have known you had.

You’ll need transport, such as a boda boda or a car, to get from Lira town to Brownstone. I’d recommend a car since the road is quite dusty. The place itself is serene, with great food, good accommodation, and great service. It’s suitable for families, couples, or anyone wanting some time alone.
